The European Union has responded to the economic and health crisis caused by the coronavirus with the largest program in its history in terms of direct aid to member countries. To do this, it has created the ‘Next Generation EU’ fund, a temporary recovery instrument endowed with 750,000 million euros, which will help repair the damage caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
This initiative arises as an opportunity for the agricultural sector, which has a new tool to finance technological projects oriented towards more profitable and sustainable production models.
This genuine operating philosophy fits in with the high-tech processes of the NGS and Max Pro systems, which combine innovation and sustainability, developing more productive, reliable and viable farms.
NGS, leading manufacturer of Hydroponics in Spain, is committed to accompanying producers in the profound transformation towards which the European agri-food system is heading, putting at their disposal its leading systems for hydroponic crops without substrate and high-tech production facilities.
Furthermore, this can happen thanks to a turn-key service from the initial conception of the project to the commissioning and start-up, to achieve the greatest success of the investment made. In this way, NGS is ideal for projects of great environmental and economic profitability, like it happens with in the line of strategic recovery set by the EU.
Spanish agri-food sector is precisely the one that, after the automotive industry, has requested the highest volume of aid so far for the items managed by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of the Resilience Fund.
Moreover it has an additional amount to the Common Agricultural Policy (PAC), through the recovery instrument ‘Next Generation EU’, to allow the Spanish agri-food sector to face the challenge of a fair transformation towards a more sustainable, technological and green.
