NGS Develops Installations for Strawberry Cultivation
New Growing System continues to develop new technologies for strawberry cultivation to respond to the growing needs of intensive and sustainable agriculture in many parts of the world.
Regarding Berry Hill, it is a Mexican company specialized in year-round strawberry cultivation that prioritizes sustainable agricultural practices. The company contacted New Growing System to develop an ambitious project for them that includes, among other things, the construction of a greenhouse equipped with cutting-edge technology, such as irrigation water cooling equipment and a nursery to cultivate and supply high-quality baby plants. The collaboration with Berry Hill began in 2018 with the construction of one hectare, an area that was later expanded to 6 hectares with a density of up to 30 plants/m2, a density that can only be achieved with the NGS-berry system. Once the production area is optimized and stabilized, the goal is to expand the cultivation area to 20 hectares.
Aware of the importance and magnitude of the Mexican market, New Growing System will participate from November 9 to 12 in Expo Agroalimentaria, the most important agricultural event in Latin America, held in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico. We will be in the indoor hall, at stand 742.
