New Growing System continues developing new technologies for strawberry cultivation to meet increasing needs for intensive and sustainable agriculture in many regions worldwide.
As for Berry Hill, they are a Mexican company specializing in strawberry cultivation year-round and prioritizing sustainable farming practices. Berry Hill contacted New Growing System to develop an ambitious project which includes, amongst other things, the construction of a greenhouse equipped with high-tech equipment, such as an irrigation water chiller and a nursery for growth and self-supply of high-quality baby plants. Collaboration with Berry Hill began in 2018 with the construction of 1 hectare, surface area later increased to 6 hectares and a density of 30 plants/ m2, a high yield only obtainable with NGS-berry. After optimizing and stabilizing the existing production surface, the goal is to reach up to 20 hectares of cultivation area.
Aware of the significance and magnitude of the Mexican market, New Growing System is participating in Expo Agroalimentaria, the main agriculture event in Latin America to be held in the State of Guanajuato, Mexico, between November 9-12. You can find us in the internal pavilion, stand 742.
